At 0:50, you say that you're going to switch to your "wire frame mode" (that's what I heard) by pressing Alt + Y. I tried that myself, but it didn't do anything.
At 1:45, when you showed that there were handles on all the nodes, what did you press or click to show all the handles?
When you were adjusting the handles for the hair, I noticed you didn't remove the fill to adjust the lines to the actual hair strand in the original art. How necessary is it to align your lineart to fit as closely to the original art as possible?
Lastly, for a more complicated hair strand like pic related, how would you judge how many nodes you need?
