I'll attach an example of what I mean. The inkscape tutorial in the OP could most assuredly help you a lot, if you plan on improving. There's also a bit of apparent bending on the gradient used for her shirt. You can notice the separation between each colors composing the blue gradient. As for why it's happening, I'm not entirely sure but I know it's related to the specific colors you picked for the gradient, something like being too close or in the same tone of each other.
