The only thing that stuck out to me technique-wise is the cape studs and the jewel (and round shapes in general) look a bit wobbly, even though they're supposed to be near perfect ellipses - such tools exist to make your life easier and get the right results where needed. As for the step-by-step on the right-side stud, that's not the best method, as it is destructive, but the idea is to start from the intended shape and adjust, overlap or otherwise edit to make it like you want it.
(on a personal note, not a fan of the sword being one block color, I like my metal swords to be shiny and sharp-looking, kinda like here
