You should use tapers for ahir ends that stick out, like her cowlick.
You should also use tapers for the creases in her clothing - you know, the lines that aren't attached to anything?
Looked at circled as to where the tapers need to be used... I didn't circle all of them, by the way. And the one with the text is the best example of some of the independent lines, and how they need to be formed....
