There is a long story behind the tale of the Elemental Cities’ “betrayals”, and not the one that has been fed to the land. These Elemental Cities were not rebel cities attempting to take the throne at all. But enough on that, I’m sure you will see soon enough. This wouldn't be fun at all if I told you everything… Now to your second question. The lands past the Ornate Border are exceptionally dangerous, yes... but I have already warned you of this. Unfortunately, the dangers of the open lands beyond the Ornate Border are mundane compared to what else lies in store: I’m sure you have heard of the corruptor of Heaven, the true threat beyond the border, the one that had almost unseated Carthas from his throne: Archan. Unlike the Elemental Cities, the stories you’ve no doubt heard about him are mostly accurate. Except the one about him having the pincers of a crab attached to the ends of his arms- I am quite sure those aren’t true, last I checked he was quite wholly mortalis.
