Thickness wise, it is much better. However, both the hair and fingers still have some issues. Certain tips of the hair are very dull, and do not curve as much in the original. You need to use handles at the tips to help give emphasis on those parts of the hair. I highlighted a few in the version I did.
The hands are still fairly lumpy. You are either using too many nodes, or you aren't making the nodes on either side parallel to each other. You also need to show more emphasis at the knuckles by having a smooth curve that shows bending. This is clearly evident on the pinky, and the finger next to it. You also make the fingernails square-like, and do not have them curve into a nice U shape like they are in the original.
As for coloring, you are missing many shadows. You seem to have thrown out the second layer of shading in the hair, which makes it much more dull in comparison. As for the eyes, it is more up to personal preference. I don't like changing much from the original, so I stayed as close as I could. I will say that you should give the eyes solid lines instead of the gradient to give it more shape and emphasis, as it may help make the face look less lifeless. Last thing is about the gradients on the tail. The spreading between the two colors is very weak, and looks very poor. Spread the colors out more so we don't see very obvious banding.
