>>1654065The major thing was Intel's virtualization software. I tried to run a VM, and it utterly failed because I had VT-d disabled in the bios. It refused to boot with it enabled, and Virtualbox refused to run 64-bit operating systems without it.
Anyways, booting with [code:lit]dart=0[/code:lit] allowed me to boot with VT-d enabled. Now I can run all the VMs I want, and put to use my 16 GB RAM. Why I would need anything besides OS X, I don't know. On GNU/Linux I just had a Windows VM for Photoshop. On OS X I get it native, and the best part is the global menu works!
