>>1444129its a pretty good job on the extraction, try to step away from using anti aliasing and relying on automated tools. use the "refine edge" option and play with the smart radius, though be careful it can clip into the image and mess with the opacity on certain parts. i usually go with a .1 on the radius, 1 on smooth and sometimes add a bit to the edge to be safe. make sure you decontaminate the colors and make a new layer w/ mask in that same option. then use a 1px inner glow with a matching color from the image (like red or orange there for example) on a lower range to help sharpen the edges a bit more. if you need to fill anything in again just pull from the original layer and use the brush with the eyedropper. words words words.
tl;dr dont anti alias and use refine edge. dont use feather.
