Feather the selections before flood filling.
Even after filling, you can still select the background, expand the
selection by 1 or 2 pixels (enough to include the edges of the girl)
and then Gaussian blur about half a pixel,
I've done that in the green rectangle. Zoom in.
The sword edges are still irregular (because the original mask wasn't clean)
but see how much better it looks than her left knuckles or right arm.
