>>1852091Your biggest issue is that you use too many nodes. You need to minimize nodes in order to reduce lumpiness. This is especially important in hair, as you want it to be smooth. Only place nodes at the endpoints, and try to use the handles as much as possible. Do not extend handles out too far that it hampers the endpoints, but extend them enough to fulfill the area around it. Then, place a pair of nodes in between if needed.
It also seems like a lot of your handles are not parallel, especially with the longer hair. Make sure you keep all nodes and handles parallel.
