For many areas of the hair, there are thickness issues, mainly in the middle of the hair lines, or at the V tips. The V tips also lack proper curvature at some of the tips. Compare to the original and try to get those tips to curve in a direction so they do not look as flat. I also recommend using sharp nodes for square hair, as you get much needed control having two independent handles. There are a couple areas at curves where the nodes don't bend enough and makes it look stiff, like the girls shoulder on the right and the shirt/face for the girl on the left. I would convert those areas to sharp and back to smooth to see if the program can produce a smoother effect, or get you in the right direction.
For the eye on the right girl, I would keep it completely filled, considering you didn't attempt the markings on any of the other eyes. The noses of both characters should be pointing to us instead of away. For the blanket, you're missing a shadow near the top. The flowers also do not properly go under the shadows with a blend mode.
