I've been doing a bit of finagaling myself, I went back to explorer and messed with the taskband a bit in a few themes. Turns out some values weren't defined in the theme I was editing before, and after some testing I managed to force the taskbar down to 16pixels or so. The problem I had with it was that it would get "stuck" when I tried to adjust the height, so the padding or something must be borked somewhere... oh well. So much effort, bblean is the easy way out. I switched to Snow Alt VS in the Kombo pack by kiko11, made the corners sharp and might tweak a bit more here or there so it looks more like what Monochrome is up too. Its not as bright as Puro was, and I like the scroll bar more. Will have to edit the firefox CSS I'm using a bit more, and hide the buttons.
In any case, this isn't my blog or whatever (I need to fix my tags really bad).
