>>1723519It was good for you to worry about the hair, because there is a good deal wrong with it. As
>>1723545 has stated, line consistency needs a lot of work. Hair can be tricky, especially when there is a lot of it. You start getting lost in certain sections and making the thickness larger than other areas. It requires a lot of maintenance going back and forth and making sure they are consistent.
The other major issue with your hair is that it lacks curvature, especially at the tips of the hair. Hair isn't as static as other objects, so it is important to curve those tips to show flow. In order to do so, you have to curve the handles at those tips much more.
The face also needs a lot of work, especially the mouth and the blush. The mouth can be the most frustrating part of an image because it can be very difficult to get right. It really just turns into a lot of fiddling until it looks decent. As for the blush, you can just add the blush lines in the original, and then add a gradient under it. You can also just skip the gradient and just have the blush lines from the original, if you so desire. You also want to get in the habit of adjusting colors from low quality originals. The HSB scale can help with washed out colors.
I went ahead and did the face and a little bit of the hair to show you what I mean. Here is the Ai file to look at it. Everything except the gmesh blush should convert to SVG.
