>>1693569I don't think it's that bad, personally. The idea you've put to work with the lineart gives it a more natural feeling. I think it just needs to be executed better probably with more practice. Also keep in mind that the original is extremely messy and sketchy which transpired in both good and bad ways in your trace. No one would've picked up that image because it's missing too many details yet you managed to clean it and improve it in many ways and turned it into a useable vector image. If you like working that way better, just go for it. Adopt it as your own style and keep improving at it. That being said, you still want to give your lines a bit more "solid/rigid" feel to them. Good examples are the straps of her outfit, some look too wobbly and not like actual rigid cloth or plastic. I'll attach something to point out the spots I think you did well and those that you should improve on. Only thing I don't like at all are the over done blur effects.
