I finally managed to pull one o these off using just the terminal (using imagemagick for editing and sxiv for visualization)! It's simple and not perfect yet, but at least it proves it can be done, now onto refactoring the whole script and try to make it work for other backgrounds and characters. /w/hat do you think?
