>>2173272I've been staring at this render for 4 hours. I have no idea what the fuck is wrong with my photoshop, but I always have to re-do my renders 10 times, and go over every single pixel multiple times.
>layer masking never picks up every pixel. tons of floaties all over the image, despite being painted completely black in the mask, but visible on black background>brushing over transparent white pixels in mask causes the nearby pixels to partially erase, so I have to go back over them again with black, creating more white pixels, repeat infinitum>maximum/minimum filter does nothing. just ruins part of the image and creates rough edges>feathering does nothing, destroys the fine edge of the object and creates a million white transparent pixels I have to go over one at a time>pen tool does nothing. 2D art has way too fine of edges. you have to be pixel perfect with your selections or it's noticeable.>no good way to just "smooth" a rough selection and not fuck over everything else>no good way to preserve the exact edge I want to keep, smooth it, and erase the nearby white/transparent pixelsI really just need a way to smooth selection, and erase all white pixels on black ground, with no feathering, and preserving the object's border/edge perfectly. Fuck me I hate photoshop. I've done so many renders but the more I do them the more perfectionist I want to be, and the more frustrated I get because of my own autism.
3D/real life cutout methods don't translate well at all to this shit.
