I really wonder if a sticky is a good idea for /w/. I don't think moot or the 4chan community thinks very much of desktops or wallpapers to begin with, however popular they may seem. A lot of newer users (from /a/, /b/) get forwarded to here and /wg/. Not to mention the whole idea of whether or not this is a discussion board or not, seeing as how many come here for vectors and desktop information these days it's hard to tell what's completely acceptable for the board. More and more threads are made with fewer image replies and general questions in regards to image modification, vectors, and desktops. It is related, that I have little doubt of. I just question the content and quality of posts in relation to the boards original intention.
>>1480049Thats true, I suppose a short and sweet sticky like /c/ may do the trick. Make a thread about it on /q/ if you are so inclined, the users generate the content and the quality of the board is based on that. I'm not really in the mood (sober) to help create a format a post for a sticky at the moment, but this is my favorite board and I'd like to think I can help.
