Flashes of lightning that bathed the entire atmosphere in blinding white light seemed to split the stained sky asunder, each single strike accompanied by a ground-shaking boom of thunder that reflected fury of the Elemental in intensity. Many more claps of thunder sounded, overwhelmingly and with every bolt of lightning, as if the very hands of god himself applauded the unfurling scene below. Clouds so dense they could have passed as airborne rocks moved sluggishly across the sky, laden with excess gases and swollen with water vapour that poured from the broken planet. From every dark cloud the next jarring blast of lightning was emitted. Vengeance and the sight of a final victory shone dazzling and clear, more vivid than the lightning strikes it wreaked havoc with, in the mind of the elemental of Tempest. Mountain-sized, violet-tinged, orb-like eyes were forming in the lightning storm; the insides of the eyes of the Tempest elemental flickered and flashed with electricity, the violet and white flickering shining through the thin cloud haze inside the eye. The area around the eyes of the Elemental was in a constant state of being lit briefly, fading to darkness, before being bathed in a glow again at the next flash of lightning. A mighty wind that toppled small mountains off of their perches and uprooted what remained of the forests and jungles of the earth roared over the land and sea, as the elemental of Wind absorbed its freedom. The eyes of the Wind elemental were perfectly clear and seemingly empty, but the pressure of the pulsing air inside them could somehow be sensed by sight alone. As the raging storm, a combination of the separate powers of the Tempest and Wind elementals roared above, the sea had thrown itself into a seething rage, tossing against and pummelling the broken land.
