Changed my rice wallpaper for the first time in a while and started playing around with an animation, tapping the padlock is meant to give the impression of 'unlocking' my apps (obviously it doesn't actually change anything lol). It's not finished so i'd appreciate feedback on how to make it look more 'locked up'.
Better detail scrot:
https://my.mixtape.moe/jnqcyw.jpg>>2064969>>2064970What are those silvery arrows at the bottom? They look a bit out of place.
>>2064990Nice colourful rice. The icons work well. The widgets fonts mismatch, I'd personally stick with the thicker sans-serif font (use a sexy sans font like Open Sans).
>>2065060Looks a bit too much like you're using widgets made for Android KitKat lmao. Something about them just makes them look old and ugly. They also clash with the wallpaper, the battery widget especially so. Something as simple as changing the widget font colour to a dark brown/beige that is similar to the wallpaper could go a long way to making it more cohesive.
>>2065076The icons are quite ugly IMO, you don't need Nova icons on your homescreen, the Nothing icon is ugly and very out of place (and clashing with your wallpaper), the blue arrow is out of place and ugly, the grey bar at the bottom makes sense but doesn't work great. Only have that google searchbar there if you actually use it regularly cause it sticks out.
>>2065100>>2065112please only post phone rice related content
>>2065130Very nice. I like seeing rices that have lots of work put in to them and I've always had a soft spot for rices that change with the time of day. I also like how you non-intrusively placed the battery and clock info on each screen.
>>2065131Interesting rice. I'm not personally a fan of large bitmap fonts, especially as replacements for icons but whatever floats your boat. That box in the top right seems a bit too big and empty. I like the use of selective blurring and Tomoko. Maybe reconsider your font choice.
