I fixed it by erasing the band that formed the gap, and it looked fine enough, but then I noticed that there were parts of the ribbons falling from her waist that had been chipped away at too.
I appreciate your touch up jobs. It's amazing how the weapon looks brand new. If it's not too much trouble, could you try the transparency from scratch? Your attention to detail seems like it'd make for a much better result.
