>>1432040its kind of backwards on how you change the icons imo. what i always did was make a shortcut for the program, then rightclick>properties> change icon. then i'd just pin it to the taskbar/startmenu. you can actually google most program icons separately and get a whole selection, but everyone almost always goes for the token pack.
>>1432050yeah, np man. im not too good at the terminology and im certainly no expert, but i feel like a lot of people here are suggested to use something and then kind of left in the dark about it. but one person cant always be holding their hand, you know? anyway, what i meant was to hide the battery/wifi signal/norton task status icons on the toolbar. not really anything to do with icons, but yeah - you can dock them in a separate tray and auto hide them. that way you can still see them on hover but they aren't always visible. yeah just a suggestion though.
>>1432059i kind of just mashed buttons until i got things to do what i wanted initially, but you can actually edit everything separately. start by ctrl+right clicking things, and messing with settings that way. then try the bbstylemaker or look up premade themes on deviant art for color schemes. otherwise, you can edit everything via the currentstyle.rc or blackbox.rc to start. Google the black box readme page for hotkeys/shortcuts/general info. (youre going to need to in order to understand how to edit your main menu eventually)
also, desktop and a peak at vector work. tried bug.n the other day, i just dont think its worth it with my current resolution.
