Physical dimensions depend upon the number of DPI.
At 72 DPI your picture's already more than 16" on a side.
But 72 DPI is only for on-screen viewing.
Ordinary home printers run 300 DPI and professional image-setters, which is what would be used for an art-quality canvas print, output at 600 DPI and up.
For a given number of pixels, dimensions vary inversely with the DPI.
