I'll admit the blur/darken thing was kind of a cop out because I couldn't figure out how to fit anything else in the space lol. As for the left widgets, I decided to just make a frame for them like the app one so it looks like it's more part of the background. Unfortunately I can't get rid of the blue widget because I sort of need it but it doesn't bother me too much anyway
