In my case here, since the pic I am working on is not available widely, I have to work with small resolution image to start with. The original picture is 1000 x 505 resolution,I tried upscaling it using waifu2x, maybe that's why you can notice some artificial noise compression and slight colour change there.
I used Photoshop to clean up this picture. The way I did it is by masking the sample text using pen tool, match it as close to the edge as I could, then adjust the levels to match the surrounding, and lastly using spot healing brush and brush tool to fix the edges.
After reviewing the result, I can see I did some few fuck up like:
>the word S is still slightly noticeable>not much I could do at the scarf and grass part, I did my best but that part is completely butchered lol>and some edges are not cleaned properlyIs this a correct way to do it? I don't know a single thing about cleaning a picture, but is there a better way to do it? and any tips you could give to make better clean up?
