Now, VERY IMPORTANT step:
check your work, look if everything was converted nicelly or if there is no excessive deletions, compare to original, check with different backgrounds, if there is no white pixels outside or something. Sometimes the border just blends too well with the background or have some troublesome edges or blurs. I usually then try to reconstruct the edges by painting over/erasing to fix the borders to look as similar to original as possible.
Zoom in if necessary and look at close.
Also important thing - work with small chunks of background at the time, as small to see all cleary with zoom. There of course will be different kinds of line, hair, body, white highlights, dark edge, light edge, you have to separate them and treat them differently. Yes, it takes a lot of time but if you want to do it correctly you have to concentrate on details.
Not just select all with magic wand, use some eraser and bingo, bango, bongo, all done, time for CS, let's put my poor-quality render on 4chan.
Repeat if necessary, and quality check once again when you finnish. Zoom in a lot and check all edges, all of them.
I hope I've wtitten all important parts, if there would be some unclarities, just ask, or if you think you know better (I mean you are more experienced) also write, I also still learning and I'm still not so experienced.
>>2126406here's a better version
I must admit, it wan't so easy (there's a lot of blurry edges that make it difficult), it isn't prerfect but at least defects are visible when you zoom in, and I think that overall it's acceptable (I hope)
It took me about 1.5h, such difficult renders require time to be done good.
Of course we all still learing but if you see that it's still difficult for you or you don't have enough time, don't do it. It better be left undone than throw some trash version at requester face.
