>>1463160It is indeed a pain in the arse :( As a rule, I try to use as few nodes as possible to get the work done. I've done shoulder->elbow with four nodes. Where multiple ones are required, smoothing is indeed a must. I'm even starting to use it on the steeper curves and just bringing the handle closer to the node as necessary to control the sharpness.
Also, small update since I haven't posted anything to this thread. I'm sure there are some consistency issues here, but I hope they're small enough to not raise too much of a fuss. The flower, for the record, is meant to be that bold.
