>>2015976One of the first things to learn is to not use strokes needlessly. They are a good tool for certain things, but you really want to use fills.
Second is properly overlaying paths to prevent the background from bleeding through the seams. (lots appeared when I removed the strokes)
Third is to work with the colors to achieve certain effects. Now, I have this habit of changing them quite a bit, but here the main lesson is to sometimes have subtle differences (apron and it's lines) and where to be more distinct (skin and apron and hair)
Since anime characters usually have really pale skin (even the tanned ones) a lack of lines can make it blend with light clothing etc. hence the change.
There's probably more to correct here, but it'll do for example purposes.
