I love Mononoke hime but it wasn't till years later after watching it and then watching it again did I full understand why it was picked up so quickly for western release, and after carefully looking at the VA list for females did I come to understand; the movie is a hypocritical misandrist hateful feminist attack on men, and Ashitaka is a full blown cuckold bitch that allowed a bunch of ex-whores, a retarded wild-girl and a deceitful manipulative evil woman (Oboshi), not to mention the random townswomen, to walk all over him, literally KILL him and treat him like an idiot.
The movie embodies the hateful spirit of the female as she foolishly rails against men and their fate as the inferior sex. All the women in this movie are despicable whores. They even treat the other males similarly to Ashitaka, calling them useless and idiots, even after almost dying from wolf attacks.
Basically, the movie was used as a feminist (jewish) attack on men and I hope Ghibli burns down next for having pumped out more feminist society-destroying bullshit.
