>>1815488The darker borders can add a nice contrast, you can add a tinge of blue and lighten it a bit, like a nice slate (#66738c), I like the render as well. Yes the dark grey looks to dark, but if you pull from the darker blues in the render it will not only match but look pretty good i think.
Another nice trick to make it blend a bit more would be to add a slight transparency, and i mean VERY slight like 95%-98%.
