Couple of tips for the eyes. The eye is currently much too inconsistent, and has sharp edges in random places. Always use the circle tool. The eye is meant to be smooth, and you have tools at your disposal that can help benefit you. The inner pupil could also be created with the circle tool. You can keep it as two separate shapes as well, but you need to make the fills thickness greater, as it is too thin currently. Also, for highlights, they are almost always above your lines, so put them in a higher layer. You can also remove the lineart around the highlights, especially if you are going to color, as it generally looks better. One last thing is for the eyelashes on top and to the left of the eye. You want the tips of those eyelashes to curve more and in certain directions. A couple of your eyelashes on the left and right side could benefit from this. Use the middle eyelashes as your guide.
>>1754844Hey, that sounds like a cool idea. I saved my day by day progress for the contest image and never thought to make it into a gif. Much messier than your gif and the size is constantly changing since I exported them each at individual sizes, but it gets the job done.
