>>1428758white crap is a fade that seems ot be set in your select settings. in the tool options menu it should have tabs to choose from, choose the first tab (should be default) and set feather to 0 to not get that fady stuff.
Prolly have some kaguya, posted all I have mad earlier but it'll have to wait since Im painting, well planning out a painting.
