Yellow - the lines are superfluous (even if they were in the original). Nix them. that triangle-like structure was most likely a change done by the artist when he realized he made the thing too small/short.
Purple: Looks sloppy (again, even if it is in the original image) - it's probably better if you "split the difference" between these additional lines to make a nicer, smoother arched piece of hair.
Finally:For the eyebrows: play with the "miter" setting by increasing it, until it auto-resolves the blunt end into a point.
