What you've made is fairly solid, could be improved, of course, but far from bad. The shading feels a little...rough in places. pic related is how I'd go about doing something like this (not really feeling like completing this as I just thought to make it as an example and comparison)
But what I do have a gripe with is that you say you made this in photoshop? That's not the best program to do vector art in. You want to use something like Illustrator or inkscape, which are meant to do this properly, with all the bells and whistles. Check the OP

Drawing with it remains basically the same, maybe some minor additions, but you have so much more freedom and options to work on the resulting path. and you can do neat tricks like I show here. And in the end it's really not that difficult, just look at this cat
