>>1724941Nope. Lines are still inconsistent.
1) You are not making the nodes and handles parallel to one another. Do not add a random node on one side without adding another node on the other side to match it. It makes it easier in the long run to make adjustments. The hair also has too many nodes. Try with just the nodes at the endpoints and the nodes at the tips of the "V" before adding anymore.
2) You are not giving all of your nodes handles. Give every single node a handle. Don't even question it right now. Every node needs a handle, and you must make them parallel on both sides. If you don't give nodes handles, you make it more difficult to curve at that end. By forcing other node handles to curve the side without handles, you are flattening those nodes more and causing kinks.
The file itself is also a mess. Illustrator has a simple and great layering system that makes organizing all your layers really easy. First, Make a "Lines" layer. Put all of your lineart in that layer. Don't worry about separating lineart between objects when the lineart is all the same color. Then, make a "Colors" layer. Within the "Colors" layer, make sublayers that separate the objects. Within each sublayer, make some layers like "Highlights", "Shadows", "Base Colors" etc. and then place colors into those layers accordingly.
Check out this file to see how the image should be, and with organized layering.
