Hmm, I can't seem to change the color of the main text for explorer. I changed all of the settings I could do 170,170,170 aside from the highlight which is alot brighter but for some odd reason it only affected the text on the file trees on the left, and only on the window I had open. (Look at Desktop and Favourites on the left explorer window)
