The way I see it, is I have the Fate/Nanoha image I work on a little at a time - that's my "pet project", if you will. I have that on my laptop, so I cannot post it here to show what little progress I have made on it, sadly.
If anything, I think if you like to vector, then do vectors. Find some simpler ones to do while you struggle with the more complex ones to get your mind off of their headaches, then do what little you can with the others, as you can, or feel inspired to do them.
