>>1584895The ripples are intentional, my aim was to recreate the original image as closely as possible. The original image is present in the linked /c/ thread, it's gif that also shows the two vector versions I have done for easy comparison. I took the colours from the original image with the dropper tool, if you look at the original image this issue is present there aswell. I have altered the direction of the gradient on the t-shirt, this is to make it appear as the light source is the same as the rest of the image. The program used was Illustrator 12 (CS2) I will admit that I am not too familiar with it, it is quite different from the older Adobe Design Suite versions (Illustrator 10 and lower, Photoshop 7 and lower) that I used in the past, the version I have the most experience with is Illustrator 8 when I was using pre the old Macs with IBM processors.
