>>1894746This is actually not that bad of an image. Work in layers with your image, and minimize separating the shapes as much as possible. For instance, you can keep all of the hair as one shape, making it much easier to follow the hair properly, and avoid disconnected issues. You can cut out the middle shapes using Minus Front. You should also minimize nodes, and always make sure the tips are curving in a certain direction, as you want them flowing.
Removing the hair accessories is pure suicide considering the character, so add them in. Use the Circle tool to help you keep the shapes smooth. You also need to work on coloring. Asuka is a red head, so you need a closer reddish/orange coloring. Use other better colored fanart to help with color picking.
