this is nice since you're new to the scene, but that doesn't mean you should be content with it. i recommend that you experiment a little bit to get something more complex going on. that's if you're up for it, of course.

color coordination is also important, and it seems that there's none involved here whatsoever. since kuroneko is wearing something primarily white, it might be a better choice to use dark/cool colors for your banners and background.
