>>1697412. My personal opinion is to try to do the eyes, and if I can't get it to look good, I would leave the eye outline in, especially if it is nicely detailed one. This is an example of one I did a couple threads ago that I liked how the eye outline turned out, in that regard.
In the end, it just depends. Minimalism is so subjective that you can do whatever the fuck you want with it. It isn't like legit vectors where you are trying to keep it as close to the original. You get to fuck around with whatever you personally like.
