Doesn't improve usablility, maybe saves some screen real-estate, flattens everything out and reduces freedom to use software because UI's end up looking buggy and inconsistent where you haven't spent days ricing them out. Slightly riced but stock is still decent looking without being a usability nightmare for anyone but yourself.
