There is no sauce. On the left is an original piece of art that is not related to any anime (that I am aware of) and on the right is a separately-drawn (probably by a completely different artist) thing of Hatsune Miku from Vocaloid. Google that if you don't know what I'm walking about.

On the right is an artist mixing both Hatsune Miku and Black Rock Shooter. Since at the time this illustration came out the anime for Black Rock Shooter and the OVA both had yet to be released, the artist probably mistakenly thought that Miku and BRS were the same character- as many people did.

Anyone know if there's any plans to continue BRS? I liked it but with only 8 episodes the plot seemed kind of... rushed and forced. I enjoyed the hell out of it though, dem otherworld scenes were amazing.

BRS originates to just 1 picture,
the manga, the OVA, they only "used" brs
(btw. it first got popular when the song was made)
The anime is kind of related to the ova,
but it does not follow the same ways entirely (==there are some changes)

basicly anyone could make a new/next story with brs
