Back then the concept of anime was unknown to me. Next up on Swedish television was pokemans and digimans. Once Internet got big though and I grew familiar with anime... I must've seen hundreds of series since.

89 or '90. I wasn't aware that I was watching a foreign film, but was captivated. I was around 6 years old. I remember the princess at the end of the movie looking somehow gorgeous. Out of all the 'pretty' girls in any american animation I've seen, I saw something different about her. Even at that age, I could be drawn in by the cuteness of anime girls before I knew what was up.

This picture sucks, but it's the closest to wallpaper I could find short of torrenting the film and taking my own screenshot.

...and it is still awesome.. fucking love it to watch that anime..

also... Dragonball (1) is from the eighties.. Trigun is from the late nineties when everything was done on computers... the eighties had anime's that were still hand-drawn...

when i watch anime today the shows are like absolute sleeping pills... i am more than 20 years older though...
