Hello, /w/, a /b/tard here. I've been using paint.net for all my shooping needs for a while, but I've never made a wallpaper before. Would any of you happen to have a tutorial info pic, or maybe even tips on how I would go about doing the basics?

TL;DR: /b/tard wants to learn how to make wallpapers.

First - the best way is to just go at it with photoshop - work on using different filters/images/tools - it's like asking someone to teach you to draw or to give you a quick reference - the only way you are going to learn is with practice. My only "tip" (besides those posted below) would be to work in large resolutions so when you finish a product you like - you can size down to the various different screen resolutions to get your wallpaper out there.
Secondly - drop the /b/tard shit - this is /w/ believe it or not those of us who lurk around other boards aren't too fond of the current generation of those from /b/ - it comes off as annoying as fuck.
Third this >>1370604 doesn't belong here. If you intend to bump - bump with /w/ material - this would belong in /wg/ and has no place in /w/. You don't use random images, image macros, or porn to get peoples attention unless it fits the criteria for the board.

To OP: pretty much exactly what was said above. I'd also recommend taking a look around at the wallpapers here, find ones that you like, and then break them down to figure out what you like about it (vectors/filters/text positioning etc.).

I would like to point out that I am in fact, not of the current newfaggotry that fills /b/. I've been around for a minute.

I don't really see the difference between /w/ and /wg/. It's like /e/, /h/, and /d/ trying to say they are different boards.
