Anyone know how I can fix my task bar in Appows Dusk? for some reason it has an empty line underneath my programs.

I've had this theme for over a year and I've never found out how to fix this issue.

Also, how do I enable the search bar? I had it working before I formatted and now I can't seem to get the shellstyle.dll to work, thanks

First of all, your firefox is pretty bad. Hard to read the text. Its gui also looks unnecessarily big. There's some taskbar showing underneath the icons. That's an easy fix for that somewhere. Also, your system try is very cluttered. Another problem is that there isn't anything special or something that stands out in your desktop.

Your firefox looks bad, you systray is cluttered, and you need to fix the space under your icons

I. First unlock your taskbar
II. Move the taskbar to the top of the screen
III. Grab the edge of it, and extend it to 2 rows.
IV. Move the taskbar back to the bottom, keeping the 2 rows
V. Once again grab the edge of the taskbar, but now reduce the height to a single row.

It's some program called TBarIconBlanker. Avoid it. All it does is replace the icons with a blank space making all of the text seem oddly pushed to the right.

TbarIconBlanker removes the icons from the titlebars. Say you have Xchat open, it would remove the little X icon from the top left of the titlebar. It's actually a nice program. It has nothing to do with windawesome.

i recommend you give it a look if anyone is interested in changing fonts or displays in that general area. switching to winamp and using rainmeter just to skin the music player has saved me some coding time, and i dont really need foobars features as i just want to play music. i like the one im using now, but it doesnt look like its supporting certain fonts.

have you posted in this thread three separate times? in foobar, the quicksearch toolbar at the top isnt scaled right and looks terrible. and some other bar on the right isnt blending at all either and looks out of place. everything else you have is pretty average, and expected. personally i'd drop that foobar thing youve got going all together, its not worth your time since you probably wont be seeing it much anyway.

I had something similar to that but it was due to having a Desktop toolbar in my taskbar since I had desktop icons hidden, once I removed it the taskbar fit flesh against the bottom of the screen

Cheers, that TBarIconBlanker has somewhat sorted out the problem because I was also looking for a program to remove icons in the title bars anyway. But does nobody know a script you can put into the windawesome config file that just removes them all together and shuffles the text to the left slightly?

Well I found out what was causing it in my case. Full-screen Steam games run in a smaller resolution. When I exit a game, all my windows are re-sized funky and my taskbar gets re-sized as well.
