babby's first desktop
1. Is there a way to remove the 'Alpha' at the bottom left hand of the screen? Or at least change what it says?
2. Is there a way to have the panel at the bottom constantly on top, but have things snap on to it? Kind of like how the Start menu is. I can keep it on top, but things don't snap on to it. They just kinda go behind it and it really bothers me.
3. I am having problems finding where to change colors for precise sections on fb2k. I thought I could just open my theme's FCL file in notepad and change it there, but I couldn't find anything.
4. The skins for my windows aren't working properly. Whenever I try to exit a window, minimize a window, etc. the button skin overlaps with the original buttons, and constantly switches in between the two. It's really ugly and makes things a lot more difficult. I mentioned in
>>1416065 about my problems with it, and disabled the skin as I was told, but the buttons are just so ugly that it bothers me to look at them. Oh, and does anybody have any skins for windows that they would recommend? Something that goes decent with my...skeleton(?) that I currently have set up.
5. How do I hide things that are constantly minimizing on the toolbar? Or could I stop them from minimizing there? It's really making my desktop look even more ugly than it already is.
6. Everytime I restart my computer, I have to rerun BlackBox in order to have my desktop back to the way it was. Is there a way to have it set as default upon booting?
7. I'm still having a bit of troubles finding programs. I used to have a ton of programs pinned in the Start menu, but I can't really navigate to them like that now. Any tips, or will I forever be doomed to have to find my way to them on my SSD/HD?
Sorry for the lengthy post, but I would appreciate any help that you guys give me. I'm a fucking infant when it comes to desktop customization.
