     >>1414933 That looks great.
Yea, I'm trying to get it as a triple monitor wallpaper with that in the middle and having it extend to my left and right monitors. On the right side, the streams could extend and get thinner as it gets farther from the middle. On the left side, I can't really see how I would want it so I would say surprise me and go with whatever you think looks best.

The general approach to making cutouts involves magic wand for bulk
Vary the threshold to get all the crap you don't want
Use a lasso tool (polygonal or freeform) to select the finer bits that the magic wand doesn't grab.
Depending on how close it is to the edge, you may skip this next step
Expand the selection by 1 (Select -> Modify -> Expand -> 1)
refine the edge, either feather by 1 or smooth edge by 5-10
Delete
Before removing selction, check the edges and delete again if not close enough to the true edge

     >>1416200 >>1416202 >>1416204 Thanks a lot for all your work guys, I really appreciate it.
The reason why I ask the said resolution and format are because these wallpapers are for my laptop, hence the small resolution. The format is because it's running on windows, and this in some cases makes artifacts when converting a .png file into the transcodedwallpaper .jpg it uses to set up the desktop.
It doesn't happen every time, but I've had a few cases when it did, so.. I just decided to play it safe.
I'm kind of clueless on most things related to these fields, so.. I can only apologize for all the trouble and give you my thanks for all the work.

     >>1416211 think I found a neat work around for you.
Step 1)
Save your image to BMP format. Must be BMP! There is no quality loss when converting to different lossless formats, so don't worry.
Step 2)
Change the extension to .jpg.
Step 3)
Select this file to be your wallpaper. There will be no quality loss now.

I was wondering if this could be made into 3840 x 1080? Love to have it as a dualmonitor setup. Wouldn't mind if the background has to be changed, as long as it's similar-ish.

"overpowered" is a video gaming term used as shorthand to describe a feature of the game that is used by players that makes gameplay (usually competitive) unbalanced in terms of difficulty of performance to the beneficial outcome to the player. "nerf" is another video game term to describe the result of a patch or other modification, usually by the developer, to reduce the relative effectiveness of the feature
>a nerf football is less effective than a regular football >the ability of the player has been "nerfed" the CS6 patch tool makes dynamic erasing a trivial task, thus "overpowered" when considered from the perspective of image modification in the past.

Could I get this with a suitably matching background color/gradient applied? Maybe like a pink or an orange, but I'll leave it up to your discretion

     >>1417289 Banding? There's a tick mark in CS5 for Dither at the top when you've got the gradient tool. Checking that should remove most of the banding issue.
Another less popular way is to add very slight noise to one of the color channels. Which channel varies by color, so toy around with it and see how it looks.
Like I said though, the dither option deals with most banding on its own

     >>1417279 >>1417326 Same anon, I'm a little confused how you ended with that effect. A solid color isn't a gradient, so it shouldn't band at all. Did you color replace or something equivalent?
