Your best bet would probably find some walls you like and go to the image modification thread, see if they can't combine, edit, etc. They're a shit-ton better at this sort of thing than me.

Hi, i was strolling by and saw your posts. I think you were trying to pull off something like this. The left side is my work, teh right is what I could do with yours inside five minutes. I suggest you use an image program with edge detect, like GIMP or photoshop with teh proper addons, as that took me less than five minutes to clear the background, while it looked like you were erasing bits on section at a time.

Also, PNG is a much better file type to save as, its doesn't have the artifact problem jpeg's have

Shit thanks. Unfortunately that's an old version. It's only in JPG to post here as a preview, the original is in PNG. I actually made a request with the new version in the IMT (>>1476830).

I'm actually doing it in GIMP, but some (alot) of the edges have quite a soft border with the BG.

tl;dr could you please do that to the linked post?

when cutting things out to make teh image translucent, don't over-think it; just select all the areas you want gone, Clear THEN add a transparent layer, Clear everything again and BAM! you have your image. I then open a new box with appropriate dimensions, ad a background and copy the edited one into it, reposition, anchor and then maybe a little light blurring on teh edges to blend everything together and save that image as a finished piece.

In the end I get something like my enclosed image
