Some of my faves are
Chobits
Eureka 7
Inuyasha
Yu Yu Hakshu (i dont know if that's spelled right)

Could someone give me some ideas based on those???

That said, you probably will enjoy Zero no Tsukaima | Familiar of Zero, at least the first season if not the first two. Maybe even all four.

Also check Inu x Boku SS | Inu x Boku Secret Service, Dog Days and Ookami to Koushinryou | Spice and Wolf.

is usually quite helpful, so long as you don't go in like a fag. Read the ***MUST READ BEFORE POSTING*** sticky, help them help you by giving some info to work with, and it won't hurt at all to use the advanced search features ... there's a couple thousand threads with tens of thousands of posts. You'll find many a discussion probably already covering your needs.

It's a good community, usually n00b-friendly so long as said n00b isn't /b/tarded. Good place to lose your virginity and get solid with some oldfags who really know their anime, like deep anime history and obscure shit.
