Ergo Proxy - Kinda moody, creates a really post-apocaliptic, sci-fi atmosphere in a really miserable future. I really like the feel this one gives.
Monster - a really good horror-mystery series. It takes place in Germany and has a realistic story.
Soul Eater - It's about crazy, comedy packed demon hunting action, fight between good and bad. Quite good.
Also, I've just recently watched Madoka Magica, but I found it a little too emotional. I mean, I have no problems with emotional series, but the things that were presented as inevitable for young and innocent girls really made me think things through. I even needed some happy fix after it.
